About Our Fees
Your fee is based on the time spent with you during your visit, the
complexity of your medical condition, and any treatment that is
provided. But proper attention to your child's care also requires
additional time spent beyond that, when you in our office. Such time may
be used to:
- Create or maintain your permanent medical record review, interpret and document all lab test results and communicate those results, orally or in writing to you
- Review recent ultrasound or x-rays, and compare them with repeat or previous testing and if necessary consultation with the radiologist.
- Prepare and mail consult reports and letters to your primary care physician.
- Consultation via phone about your case with your referring physician or other health care providers
- Prepare patient education materials Communicate with pharmacies about your prescriptions
- Complete the billing process by completing the insurance forms and obtaining authorizations
- Conduct utilization review with the hospital or insurance company
- Review and manage hospital records, past and present
- Draft letters of necessity to obtain our services to you or prescriptions for your child
- Arrangement and follow up consultations for admissions should your child require hospitalization
- All activities surrounding the care of your child add to the cost of your visit, but still we are committed to providing you the best possible care.
