What is Pediatric Pulmonary Associates, P.A.?
Drs. Kriseman, Ewig, Gondor and Demissie are in a private specialty practice
called Pediatric Pulmonary Associates. Typically, our practice receives
our patients by referral, from the primary care physicians, for
evaluation of a specific pulmonary condition. Also, some of our patients
are self-referred.
Where will my child be seen for pulmonary care? What if my child
gets admitted to the hospital?
Our pulmonary
practice has our main office in St. Petersburg, and several satellite
offices at the All Children's Hospital Specialty Care Centers in Tampa,
Brandon, and Sarasota. The doctors have admitting or consulting
privileges at All Children's Hospital.
Is Pediatric Pulmonary Associates on my Insurance Plan?
P.P.A. contracts with many Insurance Plans. Please check with our front
office and/or Billing staff.
How do I get in touch with you to make an appointment?
You can call our office number (727-767-4146) and select the appropriate
prompt. You may choose #1 to make or change an appointment, #5 if your
child is sick and you need to speak to a nurse urgently, #4 is for all
Cystic Fibrosis related calls, #6 for questions regarding your referral
to our office and #7 for our Billing Office. Our staff is happy to
assist you. Please keep all appointments made for you by our office. We
must have three days notice if you must change your appointment to allow
adequate time to schedule another patient on our waiting list.

How can I get help if my child is sick?
On weekdays from
8:30am-4:30pm, you can continue to use the office number (727-767-4146)
as you always have for sick calls, routine questions, test results, and
medication refills. Use the voice mail system to properly route your
call. On weekdays after 4:30pm, we are available for urgent
issues, by calling our office and pressing "1" to reach the answering
service; or you
may call the answering service directly by calling (727) 562-5681. Please use this procedure for urgent weekend calls as well.
